Captain Bünyamin ÖZDEMİR who was born in Ankara in 1986, completed his maritime education in 2006.

Between 2006 and 2022, he has worked in Kıran Holding  which is one of the leading companies of the maritime industry as Oceangoing Watchkeeping Officer, Chief Officer  and Captain to Handysize, Supramax, Ultramax, Panamax, Capesize vessels.

During his professional career, he has many years of experience in the Mediterranean, Black Sea and European area, as well as oceangoing  experience. He keeps the close relations with the authorities with which he cooperates in these ports. He has contributed to the development of the sector with his experience in Steel Product and Project Cargo carriers as well as bulk carriers, and has been the pioneer of many innovations with the works he has done and the awareness he has created.

Between 2006 and 2022, he took an active role in ship docking, repair, maintenance/attitude projects within the scope of Intermediate, Special survey, in China Cosco Dalian Shipyard, Tk Tuzla Shipyard, Kuzey Star Shipyard, Torgem Shipyard, Çiçek Shipyard, Sedef Shipyard and Istanbul Naval Shipyards.

He has worked on ships chartered by leading maritime companies such as Cargill, Oldendorff Carriers GmbH, Cosco Shipping Lines, Atlantic Coaland Bulk, NykLine, Pegasus Shipping, Omsan Logistic, Erdemir Group, Pacific Basin Shipping, Ds Norden, Polsteam Shipping
